I can't beleive that you would be 16! Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. What would you be doing today? What would you look like? So many thoughts go through my mind. I am so grateful for the breif moment I had with you. I love you!

I still remember coming to the hospital and being so afraid, and truly being at a complete loss about how to act or what to say. It was a moment that impacted me in so many ways. I have told you before that watching you lose two beautiful babies is a big part of what is driving me to become a doctor. I love you and will be thinking about you and Emily Jo and wishing we could all sit around and watch Sixteen Candles together.
She would be beautiful, smart, and amazingly talented, just like her mother.
We miss her everyday, and love you all so much it hurts.
I am sure Emily would be amazing, just like you are! It is so crazy that she would be 16 already! The cake looks really good as well. Do you think you could send me a piece?
I can give you the recipe. It's so yummy and easy to make! I would have loved to share it with someone. I was the only one who had any.
I can't believe she would be 16 either. I didn't realize that Emily is the same age as Brittni. I can just imagine how pretty she would be, just like her mommy.
You are an inspiration I can't imagine being able to hold my baby. But happy sweet 16 to your daughter Emily!
My darling Jo,
I think this is the first year I haven't mailed you a card telling you that I was thinking of you. I am so sorry it slipped by me. Wouldn't it be fun to see her today at 16. Driving! Flitting here and there, and tons of friends running in and out. Those are the best days.
I love you and I always remember that day in the Hospital with you and your mom. Thank you for sharing that special moment with me. Both babies hold a special place in my heart.
Emily, happy sweet 16! I wish you could have grown up in your mothers arms. She is amazing and a true hero to me. I am sorry I did not come eat cake! Jolyn, I love you so much and I am so proud of you.
